To my fellow blogging classmates @ CCL Learn
OMG I'm finding MediaWiki frustrating. I created an account, waited for the address confirmation. Days later it arrived. I clicked the link to verify my email address. It verified ok, then asked me to log in. Hahaha, this is where the fun begins. Nope, didn't recognise me. No such account bla bla bla. So I've given up on that one. Pbworks wiki was fun though. I enjoyed adding my favs etc.

is it possible you did some of this from with-in a LAMS window (this tends to often mess up loging in to other sites). or possibly just some problems at mediawiki that day. i've just checked it out and no sign-in/log-in issues now.

ReplyDeletei see the problem you were having now. the mediawiki link in the CCLlearn blog is a dud.
you need to go to mediawiki.com, log-on (should work fine), and then search for "sandbox"
even better, i've just gone in and fixed the link from the CCLlearn page. all good now!
